Getting to Dubai World Trade Centre
The venue is Dubai World Trade Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road. Dubai Metro, taxis and ride-hailing all serve the area. For the nearest metro station, line and current timings, use the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) network map and the venue’s campus page rather than older blog posts; the organizer’s travel page carries the latest visitor travel information for the show.

How to plan four days at Big 5
01
Shortlist by sector and country
Filter the exhibitor list for your product sectors and the supplier countries you buy from. Aim for a realistic list: 10–15 serious conversations a day is already a full day.
02
Group stands by hall
Sort your shortlist by hall so you walk one area at a time. The directory shows, for example, that window, door and façade companies cluster in Sheikh Saeed Hall 1 and interiors in Halls 5–8.
03
Book key meetings before you fly
Contact priority suppliers through their own websites and agree a time slot. Leave gaps between meetings for walking and unplanned discoveries.
04
Capture every contact with context
Scan each business card right after the conversation and add the product, quantity, price indication and next step. A card without notes is hard to use a week later.
05
Review each evening
Before dinner, check the day’s contacts, fix any wrong numbers and send the follow-ups you promised. It takes 20 minutes and saves days later.
Using CardFlow Expo as a visitor or buyer
CardFlow Expo lets you photograph a supplier’s business card, extract the details with OCR and AI, review them and save the supplier with your notes. On the scan screen, answer “Which exhibition are you visiting?” by picking Big 5 Global 2026 from the list: CardFlow adds it to your account and saves every scan from the show there. When you review a card, the company-name field suggests Big 5 exhibitors from the official list, and picking one fills any empty website, country, hall and stand fields.
The free plan includes 10 card scans per month, which suits a short visit. Buyers planning dozens of meetings should consider Pro (300 scans per month, or a per-event option) before the show.
